In loving memory of Sean

Story

In March 2014 I lost my beloved husband, my children lost their much loved and respected father to suicide. This was totally unexpected and out of character. Sean had never experienced depression or suicidal thoughts before, he was a hard working, fun loving, glass half full kind of guy.

In our 25 years of marriage we raised three beautiful children, we built a home filled with love and laughter,  and created many happy memories together. We had so many plans, dreams and hopes for the future, he loved us and we loved him, life it appeared could not have been better, brighter or rosier.

Some how, Sean found himself in unfamiliar waters, a dark dark place, coupled with the inability to think clearly or rationally, it all happened so quickly that neither Sean, myself or friends and family could have seen it coming. Sean took his life on the 25th March 2014.

In April 2014 a very good friend of ours Daron, dedicated his Inspired Adventures Kokoda Trek to Sean and in the process raised much needed funds to build awareness of and support  for Lifeline. In February 2015 in honour of our beloved Sean I am taking on the challenge of cycling Cambodia in order to raise more much needed funds for Lifeline, it won't bring our Seany back but it may go towards alerting your husband, father, partner or friend that LIFELINE is there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just a phone call away.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Lisa xx
